Covington - Mary C. Dunlap, 81, of Covington, a life resident of this area, died Tuesday (April 9, 1974) in Lakeview Hospital at Danville, Ill. She had been a patient in Americana Nursing Home at Danville since August. She was a graduate of Covington High School. She attended Ward Belmont College at Nashville, Tenn. Mrs. Dunlap was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church, Richard Henry Lee Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Woman's club, Wabash Valley Garden Club, Tri Kappa, Sewing Club and Bridge Club. Born Aug 30, 1892 in Troy Township, she was a daughter of William B. and Emma McMannomy Coffing. She married William B. Dunlap Oct. 8, 1913. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1962. Survivors include a son, James William of North Palm Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Mary Louise) Green of Indianola, Ill., and Mrs. Wade C. (Sally) Harrison of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Louise Bilsland of Covington' six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
